Hello. I'm a retired nurse living in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Long ago i thought i was something of an artist and i entered college hoping to get a degree in commercial art. That was before the age of computer graphics, so artwork was hand rendered at the time. Life got in the way and i had to drop out of college and by the time i went back, i decided to change my course of study to nursing, following in my mother's footsteps. Then with marriage, children and career i put my love of art aside. Now that i am retired and the kids are grown and gone, i want to get back to artistic creativity. I chose watercolor because i think it's so beautiful. It's been more difficult than i anticipated but i'm learning so much from Shayda's videos. Keep up the wonderful work, Shayda.
