Q: Is there a limit on how many times I can view the course? Or do I have a set number of days in which to complete the videos? 

 

A: No! There is no time limit of any kind! You can view the course as many times as you like. You will NOT be locked out when you finish the course. So go ahead and watch the course all the way through, and then come back any time for a quick refresher or to re-watch it completely. 

 

Q: Is there a difference between the videos in the e-course and the ones on Shayda’s Youtube channel?

 

A: The e-course is designed to help people who are feeling a little overwhelmed by the content on YouTube. It's for the absolute beginner and does not require any previous art knowledge. In a YouTube video we often complete a fun project together (say a painting of sunflowers), but we breeze over the fundamentals (like the different types of paper to use). 

 

In the e-course, we cover all the fundamental skills that a beginner needs to feel confident and start painting! We start with supplies, like what kind of paper, brushes and paints to choose. Then we discuss how to use the brush; there’s a section on color theory and paint mixing, and from there we move into painting flowers and leaves. Finally, we complete a few simple, step-by-step projects together. When you're done, you should find following along on YouTube a lot easier and hopefully, more fun! 

 

Q: Is this a one time purchase or are there recurring payments?

 

A: The watercolor e-course is a one time payment. There are NO recurring payments associated with this course.

 

Q: I already have some experience with watercolor painting. Is this course right for me?

 

A: This course is really designed for people who are just getting into watercolor for the first time. You may find it helpful if you feel like you need a refresher on the basics. But if you're already feeling confident with your brush, you’ll probably have more fun following the free tutorials on YouTube. Q: Why is the e-course only offered in US dollars?

 

A: At this time we are only able to accept one currency, and the most commonly used international currency is the US dollar. We are simply trying to keep the course as accessible as possible to as many people as possible!

 

Q: What is the difference between the e-course and Shayda’s patreon membership?

 

A: Patreon is a membership (like signing up for a fun club!), you pay a monthly fee, right now there are three tiers that range from $2 to $10, and every week the channel patrons receive bonus content. Normally the content is released on Friday or Saturday and it often goes along with the Friday YouTube video. You might get a worksheet, coloring page or a hi-res jpeg art printable delivered right to your inbox.
